April Before and Afters!

Hey all! Hope you're weekend was lovely! I'm back with the April edition of the Before and After Linky -- I actually remembered this month! :) This party is such a great way to find new-to-you blogs and inspiration. I'm always so impressed with the projects that are linked up every month!

As always I love to kick off the festivities by showing off a few of the posts from last month. I've got some great ones for you!

I LOVED these pretty rustic frames that Jenna made:

Aren't they beautiful? They look like something you'd find in the store, but better. :) She gives a great tutorial on how to make them yourself. 

Kristi's new kitchen is stunning!! So many pretty details that I loved:

The before and after is one of my favorites this month! 

You know I'm a sucker for a kitchen renovation and I loved Casey's kitchen too:

You know I adore the two-toned look -- her kitchen looks like a completely new space with the painted cabinets. And she moved her cabinets up and hung shelves underneath. I was so close to doing that as well! 

I'm so thrilled Laurie linked up her gorgeous new closet:

It is an organizational heaven! So many great details.

Oh my goodness -- this dresser makeover Liz did is one of the coolest I've seen. I thought it was pretty before but this is SO pretty:

LOVE the combo of the wood and that dark gray with the metal hardware. Swoon!

And last but not least, Sarah never disappoints -- she did such a lovely job on her guest room redo:

I think pops of dark blue make such a beautiful accent in just about any space. All of Sarah's bedrooms are gorgeous!

DIY stacked stone fireplace (where there was none!)

Well hello! I have a BIG reveal for you today! I worked so hard on this basement fireplace and I'm so so SO thrilled it's done. I'm excited to share it with you today! I took a ridiculous amount of photos so bear with me. :)  I'll show you where we started first! We have this little bump out in our basement and from day one we knew what we wanted to do with it. When we finished the basement years ago we went ahead and bought an electric fireplace for that spot. It sat on a bench for four years. 😁 A few months ago we decided to have the fireplace built in since the whole space was torn up for the new floors anyway:  Then I was craving a little more traditional look so we had the hearth added along with a mantel:  Then it was time for me to do the rest! My favorite recent projects and posts!

Well hello! Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned! I'm back with another round up of posts from the past few months today. I used to do this monthly but I don't remember to do it most of the time -- so now you get them in batches of two or three months. ;) It's always nice to look back and what I've accomplished around here and it may show you something you've missed! I finished up our loft makeover at the end of the summer -- I shared how I made the giant chalkboard for this space: This is a room that's meant for the whole family so I wanted to make it a fun space. We created a Disney art wall that we'll add to over time. Our mudroom makeover -- from dark to bright and light!

Hey there! So you know how I recently finished up a huge renovation in the loft upstairs? Yeah, well I added another room redo in the midst of finishing that up.  Let me back up and mention right here that I am a little crazy. When the folks at HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams™  asked me if I'd like to paint a room and share their new INFINITY paint line (now available exclusively at Lowe's, yay!), I was super excited to share it with you, so of course I said yes!  It started out that I was just going to paint some walls, and then it snowballed from there. BIG time. I ended up painting all of the trim and beadboard in our mud room and then the walls as well. I am so excited to show you this transformation! The difference is SO big.  When we moved our laundry to the basement years ago to free up this room I was so excited to work on it. I had already started the beadboard so that was finished off throughout the space. I went a different direction than usual with a flip...
